Ghostly Foot Art Shirt

Have I mentioned lately that I LOVE my job! Today we did a fun Halloween craft with the little guy I babysit. I am definitely in a craft mood lately! I saw this idea on Pinterest, but it was just done on paper. I like the way our project turned out.

Ghostly Foot Art Shirt

What you need: a black shirt (long sleeve or t-shirt), white fabric paint, sponge paint brush, black fabric marker

I know this is pretty much self explanatory, but I thought I would give a brief tutorial for the fun of it.

Make sure both feet are clean. Paint one foot of the child making the shirt. I like to do one foot, wash it and then do the other foot.

I used a metallic white fabric paint. I wish I would have had just plain white on hand, but I didn't. Make sure you put a nice thick coat on the foot before placing on the shirt. Be careful not to move the foot around once you put in on the shirt. Apply pressure to the foot and toes, and then gently lift the foot off. If it isn't as thick as you would like, just add paint yourself. I had to do that to this shirt but I made sure I stayed within the footprint.

Once the paint has dried, add a mouth and eyes with a fabric marker.

Isn't it adorable!
I love the way this turned out and can't wait to work on Amelia's with her.
