The Best Banana Bread/Muffin Recipe

If you have a few ripe bananas but don't want to throw them out, make this! I love banana bread and muffins and this recipe is awesome. It's the same one my grandma and mom use. You don't have to add chocolate chips, in fact the original recipe doesn't call for them, but Amelia loves adding chocolate chips to everything.

Ingredients
3 ripe bananas
1c sugar
2 eggs
1t soda
1&1/2t vanilla
2c flour
1/2c vegetable oil
optional: chocolate chips, nuts

Mix all ingredients together. Bake at 300. If you are making muffins, bake for approximately 30 minutes. If you are making loaves of bread, bake for 1 hour.

  1. These look so moist and delicious! I am a total sucker for banana bread/muffins. The banana muffin recipe I have grown to love calls for a cup of mayo instead of the eggs and oil, it sounds gross but I think it's what gives it the moist and fluffiness. I def. have to give this recipe a try!
