I really wanted to make the invitations myself and I was so pleased with how they turned out. I printed the information on a pearly pink cardstock and then drew up my own leotard template. I added the pearl striping that I got at Michael's and then finished them off with a tulle skirt glued on.
This was Amelia's first birthday party with friends so I decided to make each of the girls a pink tulle tutu. I made the 'Happy Birthday' banner from different colored pink cardstock and cut the letters out on my Cricut. I added hole punches and attached them to a ribbon. My sister and I also made the tissue paper pom poms (which are super easy to make) instead of buying them.
For the letter 'A' I used glue and drew designs on it before painting the entire thing silver. I got the cardboard letter at JoAnn's. It does soak up a lot of paint so if you plan on painting a cardboard letter like this, be prepared to add a few coats.
