High Five For Friday

I've had a crazy week. Amelia and I spent last weekend up at my mom's and then drove back Monday afternoon. Amelia, Mark and I all came down with some sort of sickness. My poor girl hasn't had a break in her fever in over 48 hours. She's coughing, feverish and throwing up. I feel so bad for her. I'm praying she can get some rest this weekend so she can start feeling better.

1. We finally upgraded from a two car family to a car and SUV family. Mark is awesome and took my car... and Amelia and I love our new ride.

 2. On our way home from my mom's house. Now that she sits up higher she can see more... and therefore I get asked a lot more questions.

3. My sick baby. Poor thing.

4. I turned 29 this week. Amelia made me a birthday present months ago of hand drawn pictures and cards. I absolutely love this.

5. Mark bought me a new lens for my camera and I played around with it today. He is such an awesome husband... and this little guy I babysit is such a cutie!!!

So we fly out exactly one month from today for our East Coast Adventure! I can't believe we are so close to going on our first real family vacation. Again, if you have any suggestions for places to visit or great places to eat in Savannah, Charleston, D.C., and NYC please share.

Happy Weekend!

  2. There's definitely more room in an SUV when it comes to toting everything around, congrats on getting a car that you really like!

  4. I hope your family is finally starting to feel better. Congrats on the new SUV!! It'll be nice to have more room to spread out when you travel. My recommendation for restaurants in Savannah - The Olde Pink House and strolling through the streets :)
